I just wanted to let you know, HOW MUCH I LOVE MY MATRIX!  Barb Bowman,a former colleague of mine who works Saturdays at Boulder Toyota, introduced me to Kim Ketellapper,my sales person, who introduced me to Mike Lather. What a team!

I was having to give up my wonderful 1998 Black Rav 4, standard transmission because of a left hip fracture that turned into a total hip replacement. I was looking for a car like mine but automatic and that was newer. The RAV has changed so much and I think most RAV owners, like me, don't give them up easily.

As I was searching the Internet and Kim was looking for me as well I just couldn't find something to replace my RAV, even though Mike was giving me a great trade-in, the new RAV's didn't cut it for me. So, all the first part of May Kim worked with me. As I was leaving the store one day I saw the Red hot Matrix with all the back end storage of my RAV and so much more and the lease deal in May was such an invitation.An old RAV vs a new Matrix was a no contest, with what my payments would be. 

I was preparing for my 2nd surgery( after 5 months) with another one, for breast cancer,coming up, and I was looking for work, on unemployment and dipping into savings to keep going. Well, I got cold feet.

Kim knew I wanted that Matrix but I just needed to get thru this 2nd surgery first.

Luckily, she saved me the car, I called her when I got home from rehabing a week with my kids after surgery and after having a great "car conversation" with my son.

 Kim answered all my leasing concerns,came to the house with the paper work, I got cold feet again.

 Mike talked to me by phone, answered my concerns and worked the numbers with me.  I was looking for a sign. I decided if I couldn't my old car title then it wasn't meant to be. I was talking to Mike while sorting thru the last box my title could be in and boom there it was, Mike's conversation satisfied me, Kim again, brought the paperwork on May 31, the last day of the offer and I have never been happier.

My new mobility with hip ( after 7 months of challenged mobility) and my new car made my breast surgery so much easier to face.

Those surgery results are good and I look forward to continued JOY with my Matrix, Ive' also told everyone I know how great you all are.

 You have an awesome, dedicated and concerned staff.

It will be one month, almost, tomorrow and if Kim hadn't come to my house  and if Mike hadn't worked with me over the phone it never would have happened. And if Barb hadn't said ," let's go out for a glass of wine".

I continue to be a satisfied and grateful Toyota customer!

"Great Service Department"

It's an understatement to say that  electrical problems in cars can be difficult to diagnose. Especially intermittent ones.  

I took my 99 Avalon (yes, I am the only person under 55 that drives this great car) to Boulder Toyota for an air bag warning light problem.  Paid to have it fixed and away I went.  However after a short time the light started to come back on - again intermittently.  After the second return trip we finally got it to come back on while at the shop.  

Boulder Toyota changed the diagnosis and without going into a lot of detail about the the exact parts etc... it was apparent to all that the initial diagnosis and repair was incorrect and unneeded.  Most dealerships and independent shops would have said "tough" or "we had to replace the first set of parts to find out the problem with the other parts" or some such BS.  Not Boulder Toyota.  The service writer said "do you want me to cut a check for the initial repair or apply it to the next repair?  I was blown away by the honesty.

I have not decided what to do about the needed and very expensive repair but I went ahead and had them do a complete brake job (to replace the crap installed at Mineke) and applied my credit to that work.

I have never had a service place stand so tall and be so honest.

Dear Sir,
We are writing to thank you for the excellent service that we have received from Boulder Toyota's Service Department  over the past 5 years.  During that time we have had out two Toyota's serviced by your department on numerous occasions and each time we have received excellent service.

In particular we would like to commend Dale Baker and his co-workers on the Red Team.  Dale is the model of what a service team leader should be.  He is helpful, honest. reliable, and thoroughly professional and he is supported by an outstanding team of service technicians.  We feel confident that each time we bring our vehicles to Dale to fix a problem that the cause of the problem with be quickly identified, the problem fixed, and that we will be charged only for the work that truly needs to be done.  Likewise, we know that when we bring our cars in for routine service that Dale and his team will put them into tip top shape and not recommend service that is not really needed.  Boulder Toyota is indeed fortunate to have employees like Dale and his team. 

After having dealt with numerous other automotive service departments, we know how difficult it is to find a service department as excellent as Boulder Toyota's.  We truly appreciate your excellent work.

"Great Vehicle"

We love our new Prius and could not be happier with it.  In fact, Jeff and I fight over who gets to drive the Prius (our other car is a Lexus 400h - a nice car but we both prefer our Prius).

Our Prius was one of the two green Prius that were hit this summer by a large falling tree on Broadway (there was a big article about it in the Daily Camera) and my car was barely dented.  While a tree branch went throught the windshield and entire dashboard of the OTHER Prius, the driver and her passenger were also uninjured.  Their car was totaled and they are getting another Prius.  A great Prius story with a happy ending. 

If we have friends looking for a Prius (or a Toyota) we'll definitely send them your way.

Dear Toyota Management,

 

I wanted to share my appreciation for the excellent customer service I have received from Vinnie Ferrara.  My husband purchased a new Toyota Highlander Hybrid from Vinnie about a year ago and we were so pleased with the vehicle and Vinnie's excellent service, that we called Vinnie to help us find a slightly used one for me.  Vinnie was very pro-active on our behalf and we happily purchased my 2009 Highlander recently.  Vinnie supplied us with keychains with his number on them and encouraged us to call for ANY reason EVER: rain, snow, sleet, hail, day/night, or weekend.  I found myself stranded today when my car would not start and called Vinnie's number and he very enthusiastically came to my rescue.  This service is above and beyond comprehension and I applaud your fortune in having THE very BEST employee on the planet!!

I want you to know that we did look at your dealership while searching for a replacement vehicle.  Unfortunately, you simply did not have what we wanted the day we were looking. 

 

That said, I would not hesitate to recommend LHM Boulder Toyota to friends, colleagues, and other interested parties.

    My name is Mark and my wife Cathy and I purchased a new extended cab pickup from you in 1991.  I used the truck for years as a sales vehicle, covering northern Colorado and Wyoming.  After what I thought was the end of the little trucks life I gave it to my wife to drive as a commuter vehicle.  She drove it for years back and forth to Longmont.  It was still running strong and our two teen drivers were ready to learn a standard transmission.  After three years of young drivers and 6 minor fenderbenders the little truck came full circle and I am driving it as a commuter vehicle back and forth to Fort Collins.  Our little truck has 353,000 miles on it, and is running strong.  Now my goal is to see how long it will last.  After recent bad pulicity, I thougt a little possitive spin would be appropriate.  Not only is Toyota still the best brand on the street, when this vehicle stops running I will replace it with another Toyota. Thanks for a great truck.

You did a great job today! I appreciate your style and being straight up with me concernong the deal.I have been in many car buying situations, but this was by far the best experience for me. You really hit the mark and made me feel comfortable. When it came to my trade, which was a huge factor you saied,"ok, now it is time for you to sell me your vehicle." This was a great technique most salespeople don;t employ. You brought me into the process.But the proof was when you provided me a reasonable price and did not try to "steal my trade." When I asked for $500 more your manager stepped up and inspected my vehicle and gave me the extra $500. Other dealerships I had been to did not even inspect or drive my car. You guys operate the right way. Thanks againn and I hope to see you more as we use Boulder Toyota for our small fleet of Toyota vehicles.

This is a note to express to you my deepest thanks for you assistance with determining if my car was safe to drive after I ran into a stone planter.  You  were kind enough to work me into your schedule on June 18th to put it up on the rack and make sure everything looked OK - and without charging me.  I cannot tell you how much that meant to me and how helpful it is to me to not be charged for the "looking".
You suggested I might want to have it more carefully checked here with my local dealer and I will do so.  I arrived home yesterday and the car handled well, except for speeding up too much on the cruise control a couple of times, but it self-corrected after a few seconds.
Anyway, I just wanted to express my gratitude for your generosity and sensitivity to my issue.  Everyone there was super helpful - especially you!

Dear sir:

Recently, I have had need of your service department. You fixed the gas pedal problem according to what was recommended by Toyota. You made me a new key and programmed my other two keys, changed my oil and rotated my tires on my 2009 RAV4.

I brought the car in today because of a rattle.Josh Killup drove the car with me and found the cause of the rattle. Chris Doerschlag is ordering 2 little parts which should arrive in 2 days. Chris has been very responsive, very efficient, and very kind to me. Josh has been available, sharp and effective in dealing with these matters. I could not be more pleased with the service I have recieved.

I would like Chris and Josh to know how much thier responsiveness is appreciated. It is the way that they do tier jobs, that I would recommend Boulder Toyota,
