Quick Lube Technicians

Larry H. Miller Boulder Toyota is seeking three new lube technicians to join our service department. Previous experience preferred but not required and there is ample opportunity for advancement. 
  • Must have a valid drivers license
  • Clean driving record
  • No felonies in the last 3 years 
  • Must pass a drug test 
Weekly work schedule will include four 10-hour shifts from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. with a 1 hour lunch break. Candidates must be able to work two Saturdays per month.

Shipping and Receiving Clerk
The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is expected to:
  • Protect the legal, financial and moral well-being of the Larry H. Miller Companies dealerships;
  • Effectively maintain customer order flow processes to ensure accurate, cost effective and timely handling of customer shipments and returns which achieves cost efficiencies and customer satisfaction;
  • Be a teacher to support the efforts of other employees to be successful;
  • Seek ways to improve business operations efficiencies and customer service.
Primary Duties:
1. Ensure maximum productivity, customer service and cost control.
  • Achieve company standards by maintaining an efficient check-in process while utilizing appropriate processes to ensure quick, accurate, easy access and prompt service.
  • Effectively and accurately distribute completed orders to delivery area and package for shipping while maintaining timelines to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Accurately and promptly process incoming returns to sustain consistent work flow and proper accounting.
  • Maintain secure and organized shipping and receiving systems to prevent damage and/or loss of company materials.
  • Perform all job duties requested by management
2. Operate with integrity:
  • Demand the highest ethical standards from self and others.
  • Set an example of positive attitude and professionalism, including a neat, orderly and safe work environment.
  • Communicate and help resolve customer complaints and adjustments.
Job Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 6 months or more related experience in a shipping and receiving setting.
  • Basic communication skills-ability to read and write.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
  • Excellent attendance and dependability.
  • Basic computer skills necessary. Desirable: Larry H. Miller Group's management systems knowledge.
Physical Requirements:
  • Work performed in a shop setting.
  • Exposure to shop environment such as noise, dust, odors and fumes, chemicals and adhesives.
  • Required to lift up to a minimum of 70 lbs.
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, talk, hear, use hands and fingers, handle or operate objects, tools, or controls.
  • Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch.
  • Required vision include the ability to adjust focus.
  • Required to operate equipment and move vehicles in a safe manner at all times.

Parts Back Counter
The Parts Back Counter is expected to:

  • Achieve sales and gross profit goals to develop business while sustaining customer satisfaction standards;

  • Seek ways to improve business operations efficiencies and customer service.
Primary Duties:
More than 50% of time spent requisitioning, stocking, and dispensing parts, making sales, obtaining orders.
1. Ensure maximum productivity, customer service and cost control.
  • Effectively communicate with clientele to ensure objective, customer needs and sales opportunities meet company standards.
  • Effectively communicate with technicians and outside-customers to ensure the correct part is ordered.
  • Identify and assist customer needs and sales opportunities to meet company standards.
  • Efficiently communicate with clientele regarding invoices and payments.
  • Review service repair orders and invoices with technicians for proper completion and calculations.
  • Display and merchandise seasonal parts and accessories to achieve maximum marketing exposure.
  • Perform all job duties requested from management.

  • Must be personable, enthusiastic and have a sense of urgency.
Physical Requirements:
  • Work performed in a shop setting due to location of the shop, parts, and technicians working in the shop in addition to the necessity to work with other dealerships as customers.
  • Exposure to shop environment such as noise, dust, odors and fumes, chemicals and adhesives.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions precedent at that time.
  • Required to lift up to a minimum of 50 lbs.
